The Equestrian Safety Academy (ESA) is creating the first structured, skills-based safety curriculum for riders of all levels. Weโre inviting a select group of experts in equine behavior, rider biomechanics, emergency response, youth coaching, and sports science to help shape this pioneering program.
This application is the first step in identifying qualified professionals who can contribute to curriculum development, program design, and instructor training. Compensation or consulting rates, when relevant, will be discussed individually with selected applicants. The ESA is committed to fair and transparent compensation for project-based curriculum work, advisory involvement, and instructor training roles.
We welcome individuals with demonstrated expertise, a commitment to rider safety, and the ability to collaborate in a structured, research-informed environment.
What this application is for:
To evaluate your experience, background, and potential fit for contributing to The ESAโs foundational curriculum, advisory panels, pilot programs, or instructor development process.
What this application is not:
This is not a volunteer signup or a general inquiry form. The ESAโs expert group will be limited and invitation-based to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
This application is not for instructor or clinician roles. Once the initial curriculum development completes, the application for instructors/clinicians will open. Before you begin:
- Please review the expertise roles outlined on our Roadmap page (view here) to ensure your background aligns with the areas weโre currently seeking support in.
- Provide clear, complete responses to each question.
- Some questions may require detail regarding your qualifications, experience, or relevant work.
- Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance; all applications are thoughtfully reviewed.
- The ESA may follow up to request a conversation, references, or additional documentation as part of the review process.
Thank you for your interest in supporting riders by expanding access to essential safety skills alongside traditional riding instruction.
